I'm a software engineer comfortable working anywhere across the stack. Backend systems, frontend interfaces, devops, QA, design, all of it. I care about open source and building useful tools that make things a little easier.

At Apple in Seattle, I build analytics systems and frameworks for Apple Services — measuring what matters while keeping strong user privacy protections at the core. Previously a Front End Engineer at Amazon, with earlier stints at Mozilla (Firefox), Rackspace, Codecademy, and others.

Outside of work I'm into indoor gardening, fitness, trying new restaurants, and gaming. You'll find me as @saadq across the web.
